Boyfriend Denim Series: Part IV

Boyfriend Denim Series: Part IV

Is it obvious yet that I'm obsessed with boyfriend denim? Don't worry, the trend will die soon, and I'll have to find a new obsession. But until it does, here's the fourth part of the Boyfriend Denim Series.

Dennis and I spent a Sunday afternoon in early June running errands in Soho, then headed over to this great Cuban restaurant, Agozar, for dinner. Our friends Phil, Freddo, and Liz took us out to dinner here last October to celebrate our wedding, and I fell in love with their mojitos and food! So delicious! The mojitos are a bit dangerous though...they're so sweet and yummy that you drink a few without realizing you're consuming significant amounts of alcohol...then it hits you like a ton of bricks and you start thinking "whoa, that was fast", which then leads to "why do I do this to myself", and finally "I'm never drinking again!" Always.

Back to the more important topic: these awesome boyfriend jeans I snagged from Urban Outfitters! LOVE! They shrank a little after the first washing, so now I always give them a nice stretch while they're still wet. It probably doesn't make any bit of difference but I do it anyway. I've worn these jeans on numerous occasions this summer, mostly sticking with tanks/sleeveless tops and sneakers, birks, or good ol' flip flops. They're definitely more of relaxed, casual fit, but you could still pair them with a chunky heel and a cute top for a different vibe. Scroll down to see more pics of my new fave jeans and our dinner at Agozar.
