The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon

This is the last post from our Cali roadtrip. I'm excited to finally be caught up with the blog, and it's just in time for my foot to have healed enough for my doctor to clear me for full weight-bearing...which means more adventures are on the way! I'm so excited!

But back to the Grand Canyon.

Remember my post from our visit to Horseshoe Bend and how I learned of my acrophobia? Ok, acrophobia might be a touch dramatic, but I did get quite anxious being so close to the cliff. Well, we spent the next day at the Grand Canyon, and it too had several unobstructed cliff edges...yikes! But I gotta tell you, the views were beautiful. Nature is beautiful. For me, there's nothing quite like a beautiful landscape to put my mind and heart at ease (being at least a safe distance from the edge).

Brooklyn really enjoyed it as well. Being the badasses we are, we used the GoPro fetch harness and our GoPro Hero 4 to capture some great pics and video.

Here's the video from BK's GoPro. Beware, if you have motion sickness this video will probably make you vomit.  I think the song match is perfect....cause BK definitely got stares this day.
