Showing Some Shoulder
When I bought this dress, it wasn't because I thought it was going to be the "it" silhouette of the summer. It was part of a handful I grabbed at Madewell to wear as my bump got bigger. I spotted this dress and very similar chambray off-shoulder dresses on so many women this weekend while out to brunch with baby daddy. I also wore this dress to my baby shower in Mississippi a few weeks back. I've gotten so many compliments on it, and due to it's popularity, decided to share it with y'all. And no, it's not maternity...still just sizing up ;)
You can pair it with a variety of shoes: wedges, espadrilles, gladiator sandals...or even birks, like I did (I'm desperate for good arch support for my bum foot with this extra weight from Baby Girl). I'd totally wear cute wedges to dress it up more...not sure how well my body would react to them though...you know, since my center of gravity is already pitched forward more than normal.
